Analyzis of interaction at Nobel Peace Center and NRK Opplevelsessenter

Input:

We were to sketch a number of inputs to interactions, with focus on tangible experiences. By using whatever we had in hand, I focused on using different senses in the interaction.

Output:

After picking five of the made input devices, we sketched possible outputs: In what situation should the interaction be used?

Food processor: The bowl is a transparent screen. You upload/activate a recipe, and it tells you what ingredients and amount to add. Helping you through your cooking.

Electric suit: by wearing this suit you learn about electricity. By being in movement you genereate power and charge the suit. By holding on to each other, you can light a bulb or activate other electronic devices. The more people you are, the more energy you have. The electrisity runs through the suit, and you lead the power just by holding hands.

Seat gear: A semi automatic gearing system to your car. By moving yourself sideways you shift gear. To prevent monotonous driving which can make you sleepy.

Thermo remote control: A device for you and your oven. This remote control regulate the temperature and timing of your oven to get the best result of your cooking. When the food is ready, the oven shuts down and you get notified.

Blowing map: a interactive map for the Sahara Museum. The map represent the room you are standing in. Blow the” sand” away from your map, and the floor will reveal the same area. Information, pictures and facts will appear on the floor – where the sand is blown away. Navigate your way around the museum, revealing bit after bit.
